Brokers wrote almost 77% of all mortgages in the March quarter according to recent data from the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).

This figure surpassed the previous record of 76%.
MFAA CEO, Anja Pannek, said the record mortgage broker market share was a powerful endorsement of the role mortgage brokers play in helping Australians achieve their financial goals.

“These results clearly demonstrate that the broker proposition is highly and increasingly valued by Australian borrowers,” she added.

Tegan began with Pathway in 2018 processing applications from submission through to settlement and quickly became a qualified Broker in 2019.

Tegan is also a qualified Property Valuer, mainly working on mortgage security valuations. Her 9 years in this role prior to switching to finance has provided her with excellent knowledge in all areas of property. Prior to this she worked for Valex (popular banking valuation platform) and Rpdata (Core Logic) in compliance and disputes.

Tegan is also the mother of the Freddie (1), and her and her Partner, Pete, co-own an apple cider business - Lenswood Cider @lenswoodciderco 🍏
